Newsom to discuss Florida Gov. DeSantis on Fox News in November

Fox News announced Monday that a date has been set for a debate between Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. The debate will last 90 minutes and will be held in Georgia, although a specific location has not yet been announced. It was moderated by Fox News’ Sean Hannity. Nov. Fox News said the debate will air on “Hannity” on the 30th. The two governors have clashed on a number of issues, including guns, abortion, education and immigration. Newsom said DeSantis’ administration plans to launch an investigation into the migrant flights to California. During an interview with Newsom in June, Hannity asked the governor if he wanted to discuss DeSantis. “I’m all in,” Newsom said during the interview. Hannity is framing the debate as a “policy-based” debate between a “red state” leader and a “blue state” leader.
