A Fourth of July party in the Hamptons in the world of fun and sports.
Fanatics mogul Michael Rubin hosted his annual “white party” at his $50 million oceanfront home in Bridgehampton on Monday, ahead of the official holiday.
Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez — who own homes in East Hampton and Water Mill, respectively — Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, T.J. Khaled and Kevin Hart were among the 350 guests in attendance. A stellar affair. Usher, Ne-Yo and Jack Harlow performed. Usher headlined “Happy Birthday” to Hart, who turned 44 on July 6.
Also in attendance were Philadelphia 76ers stars James Harden, Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris — Rubin owns a minority stake in the NBA team. In addition to being the CEO of Fanatics, the world’s leading provider of licensed sports merchandise, he is also the CEO of Rue Gilt Groupe, a leading off-price e-commerce portfolio company that includes RueLaLa.com, Gilt.com, etc. ShopPremiumOutlets.com.
Other sports stars who passed out on the night included Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker Micah Parsons, French soccer star Kylian Mbappe and Buffalo Bills safety Tamar Hamlin, who was revived after suffering a heart attack in the middle of a game six months ago. Billionaire businessman and New England Patriots owner Robert Croft, who owns an oceanfront pad in Southampton, was a guest.
Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Bieber, country music star Kenneth Chesney, rapper Lil Baby and social media influencer Fat Jew also appeared in photos online. TV personality and actress La La Anthony, former publicist and TV personality Jonathan Sebon, model Lori Harvey, singer Justin Sykes and comedian Trusky were in attendance.
Cars lined Jobs Lane and McGox Road throughout the day and into the night, including a huge firework display into the Atlantic Ocean, which was launched from just beyond the shore.
Before the bash, Rubin enjoyed playing football in the sand with Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Stroud and Hart, according to his Instagram posts.
Rubin bought the contemporary 8,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom home in an off-market transaction for $50.15 million, making it the most expensive sale in the Hamptons in 2020.
Meanwhile, staying in the Hamptons, D.J. Khalid even has his new car in his mega collection from his home in Miami. He posted a video of a special Mercedes-Maybach S-Class S680 Virgil Abloh arriving in South Fork in a truck. The two-tone Maybach, which he calls Cappuccino, is just 1 of 150 limited-edition S-Class sedans. According to AutoJosh.
Khaled is no stranger to the Hamptons or real estate. He has invested in real estate, including a state-of-the-art new building in Sag Harbor, along with retired NBA star Luol Deng. Listed with Matt Breitenbach of Compass, it sold in 2021 for about $4.8 million.
