Nathaniel Fuller scored a hat trick in regulation time for the Redmen

COXHEATH, N.S. —

COXHEATH – Bryce MacKenzie scored the shootout winner to lead the Riverview Redmen to a 6-5 victory over the Sydney Academy Wildcats in Cape Breton High School Hockey League action at the Cape Breton County Recreation Centre on Friday.

Nathaniel Fuller had a four-point night for the Redmen, which included a hat trick, while Sam MacKinnon and Kendall MacQueen also scored goals in regulation time.

Ashten Dawson, Jacob Wolodka, Josh Turner, Brenden Armstrong and Belle Jacobs replied with goals for the Wildcats.

Josh Leudy made 23 saves for Riverview. Daniel MacGillvary stopped 32 of 37 shots for Sydney Academy.
