Citizens around the province will gather for local ceremonies on November 11, to mark Remembrance Day.
Here are the locations and times for ceremonies in Conception Bay North.
• Bay Roberts
The annual ceremony for Bay Roberts will be held on 11 a.m. at the War Memorial.
• Spaniard’s Bay
The annual ceremony for Spaniard’s Bay is scheduled for the war memorial at 11 a.m.
• Harbour Grace
Harbour Grace’s ceremony will take place at the war memorial at 11 a.m.
• Salmon Cove
Riverside United Church will host Salmon Cove’s Remembrance Day ceremony at 2 p.m. on Nov. 10.
The Remembrance Day ceremony will be held at the war memorial at 11 a.m.
• Clarkes Beach
Ceremony being held at War Memorial in Clarkes Beach at 11 a.m.
• Salmon Cove
Ceremony being held at Riverside United Church on November 10th. Parade leaves town office at 2 p.m., wreathing laying ceremony and social gathering to follow. If needing a ride meet at Carbonear Legion 1 p.m.
The ceremony for Brigus and Cupids will be held in Cupids this year at the War Memorial at 11 a.m.
The annual ceremony for Avondale, Harbour Main, Colliers and Conception Harbour will be held at the Town Council office in Avondale at 11 a.m.
The Remembrance Day event for Holyrood will be held at the Star of the Sea at 11 a.m. Expect traffic delays on the Conception Bay highway.
