The Port aux Basques and Area Chamber of Commerce wants to know what members think about the services it provides.

The Chamber is conducting a survey to determine satisfaction with its activities, programs and events.

“The results will help us shape our programming to ensure we are advancing our mission of serving the business community in the most effective ways possible,” Chamber president Margie MacDonald said in a Sept. 29 news release.

The survey project, which started in August, is seeking feedback specifically from the member businesses.

“The results will provide us with a benchmarking tool that our Board can use as they work to implement a strategic plan that will propel our community to success,” MacDonald said.

The Chamber wants to ensure the survey is done right by engaging face-to-face with members, MacDonald said.

“We still have a lot of members left to reach out to. This is a time-consuming process,” she said.

MacDonald encouraged all members to participate in the process.

“This is your opportunity to vent or praise,” she said.

Chamber members will receive the results once the survey is completed.
