Attention young bowlers, it's time to lace up your shoes and throw strikes.

YBC in Port aux Basques will hold registration for the new season from 2 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the Bruce II Sports Centre.

The cost is $70 per child. Remember to bring your child's MCP number.

Bowling will start Sept. 17. Times will be posted after registration day.

There will be four divisions, with the ages based on your child's age as of Dec. 31.

Peewees (age 4 to 7) bowl one game, bantams (8 to 10) bowl two games and juniors (11 to 14) and seniors (15 to 19) bowl three games.

There will be one fundraiser for the year, and weekly 50-50 draws will be held as well as a year-end 50-50 draw.
