Dear editor: I recently read the story called “New experiences” in our local newspaper. The story about Leigh McGee’s experience to Rose Blanche was heartfelt and it made me proud to read about how she enjoyed the trip.
I also received a letter from Harry and Rona Bethea from Georgia, who wanted to thank the community’s people for the hospitality shown. A copy of the letter will be posted at the town hall.
In Rose Blanche, we look forward to having ships come. Actually, we look forward to having all visitors. I think it speaks volumes for the people living here and the volunteers involved when we read and hear their stories.
