Composting bins bought for Bay St. George Waste Management Committee have arrived

Composting bins bought for the Bay St. George Waste Management Committee have arrived including 200 the Town of Cape St. George ordered and another 200 for towns and local service districts that missed the order date, which are available to those communities by contacting the Bay St. George Waste Management Committee at the Town of Cape St. George at 644-2290. In addition to these, more than 500 bins are being distributed mostly on the west coast from Port aux Basques to Lourdes to Bay St. George South with the aim of reducing the amount of waste going to the regional transfer station in St. George's.
