Corner Brook Care Partnership has started work on the new long-term care facility in Corner Brook.

The new facility, which will include 120 long-term care beds, 15 palliative-care beds and 10 rehabilitative-care beds, is scheduled to open in spring 2020.

The facility, located at the top of Cpl. Pinksen Drive, is being built on the same site that the new hospital will be.

The province is building the facility through a public-private partnership model.
