Two closed sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park reopen

Repairs have been completed to two more sections of the T’Railway Provincial Park that were damaged by heavy rains last October.

Sections from Grand Falls-Windsor to Jumpers Brook and from Jumpers Brook to Notre Dame Junction are now reopened to the public.

The Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation is also advising users to keep in mind work is continuing to repair other damaged sections of the T’Railway and closures remain in place.

They include:

- Sections from Mary March Brook (approximately 45 kilometres west of Badger) to Grand Falls-Windsor remains closed to all users while repairs are ongoing;

- Sections from Notre Dame Junction to Gander remain closed while repairs are ongoing; and

- Users of the sections from Gander to Clarenville and from Clarenville to Little Harbour East will encounter closed sections while contractors continue to make repairs.
