Years of service awards presented

Burgeo Lions President Jim Marsden presented the club banner to Zone 4 Chairman Louis White.

The Burgeo Lions Club was filled with action on Nov. 25 with food, music and a time to celebrate achievements.

N3 District Governor Penny Pike was at the meeting to give Lions an update as what was happening in the district. Also attending the meeting was Louis White, Zone 4 chairman, and Lion Dave Foote of Old Perlican. Dave is a charter member for three clubs including those in Burgeo, Hermitage and Old Perlican.
Pike held the installation of officers for the current year of the Burgeo Lions Club and presented monarchs to four Lions for their years of service. Those awards included Max Billard, 25 years; Roy Fudge, 35 years; Fred Simms, 40 years and Jim Marsden, 40 years.
After the meeting the club was entertained by Lion Clayton Meade and Lion Louis White on lead guitar while lions joined in and sang along to their music.
