Burgeo Academy students compete in track and field

On June 16 and 17, students from Burgeo Academy competed in the Hershey Track and Field competition.

The students were from Grades 4 -7. This event took place in Mount Pearl at the Pearl Gate complex. There were 400 plus athletes from across the province that took part in this event.

The students from Burgeo took home eight ribbons from the event. Although not everyone won ribbons, the students raced hard, had fun, and beat their personal best times.

Congratulations to all the athletes on an outstanding performance. Also, a big thank you to all the parents.
