Patricia Farrell has some more darts hardware to display.
She and fellow Newfoundlander Jenelle Legge, from the Burin Peninsula, placed first in the Ladies Doubles Championships at the Canadian Open tournament held in Saskatoon on June 12 to 15.
Farrell, a Codroy Valley native, was tied for fifth place in the national rankings going into the tournament her 20th national meet.
She was knocked out of the Ladies Singles Championships in her third game by another Newfoundland native, Martina Ryan. She finished in a four-way tie for fifth place.
Farrell won the provincial womens singles tournament held in Gander on the March 17 weekend. She has won 16 national titles and numerous provincial titles over the years.
