Reward offered for vandalism help

Letter to the Editor -

Editor's note: This letter references the story about vandalism damage to the new boardwalk along Grand Bay West Beach in Port aux Basques and the broken windshield in the town's street sweeper that appeared in the April 26 issue of The Gulf News.

Dear Editor,

I would pay $50 reward money, and if anyone wanted to add to it, they could contact me. Probably only wishful thinking but these things drive me nuts.

I will certainly pay the $50 to expose these vandals, and your paper deserves kudos for printing these stories. People work hard in Port aux Basques to achieve these things to try and better our beautiful town.

I miss Port aux Basques so much and when the day comes that I return home to visit or live, these trails will be a great asset to me and many others who have fond memories of Port aux Basques.

Shame on these people and I hope they get caught. I hope others will try and prevent this nonsense. Keep up the good work.
