You may remember in last week’s edition of the Gulf News we had the story of Jim Osmond and his giant pumpkins.

Last week Mr. Osmond harvested the gourds. The smaller of the two broke and collapsed as he was taking it out of the garden. The larger of the two was 517 pounds. It was weighed by Jerry Osmond at the Government Wharf in Port aux Basques.
