Port aux Basques Volunteer Fire Department responded to a false alarm at the Marine Atlantic terminal last Wednesday.

The support unit vehicle and two trucks were parked at the base of the ferry ramps.

Firefighter Todd Strickland said the call was a false alarm due to an alrm system malfunction.
