Visitation restrictions have been lifted at the LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques.
The restrictions were put in place due to an outbreak of a stomach flu-like illness which included vomiting and diarrhea.
People who have had vomiting and diarrhea or other flu like symptoms are asked to refrain from visiting any of Western Health's facilities. Individuals with any of these symptoms should rest at home, drink fluids and practice proper hand washing with hot water and soap, and if the symptoms persist contact their physician.
A visitation ban continues to be in place at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre and Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook.
