The scheduled X-ray equipment installation for Calder Health Centre in Burgeo will be delayed due to an unforeseen supplier issue.

The X-ray equipment supplier experienced a delay in the delivery of some required materials and is unable to meet the original installation schedule.

Equipment is now scheduled to be delivered and installed between March 8 and 12. It is now expected the new equipment will come into service on March 16.

While the new equipment is being installed, individuals requiring X-ray services or pre-admission for surgery are asked to travel to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville.
