Visitation restrictions extended to Stephenville hospital

Visitation restrictions have been extended to Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville.



The restrictions are being put in place due to an outbreak of an outbreak of a stomach flu-like illness which may include vomiting and diarrhea.

Visitation restrictions have been extended to Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville.



The restrictions are being put in place due to an outbreak of an outbreak of a stomach flu-like illness which may include vomiting and diarrhea.



Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for immediate family members of the terminally ill. Please contact the facility directly for instructions on how to proceed.



People who have had vomiting and diarrhea or other flu like symptoms are asked to refrain from visiting any of Western Healths facilities. Individuals with any of these symptoms should rest at home, drink fluids, practice proper hand washing with hot water and soap, and if the symptoms persist contact their physician.



A visitation ban continues to be in place at some of Western Healths facilities in Corner Brook including: Western Memorial Regional Hospital, the Interfaith Home, the OConnell Centre and the Protective Community Residences on Wheelers Road.
