The MV Leif Ericson and MV Caribou could be seen off the coast of Isle aux Morts Wednesday morning, waiting to dock.

The MV Atlantic Vision's collision with the dock on Tuesday morning left the Crown corporation's flagship unable to leave port due to a hole punctured in its stern.

Although there are two docks available in Port aux Basques, none of the other ferries are able to dock when the Vision is in port because of its size.

Workers were inspecting the damage on Wednesday morning. A square piece of metal was welded over the approximately 2-foot wide hole.
