The proud Newfoundlanders of the southwest coast serving onboard the HMCS Fredericton in the Gulf of Aden recently gathered for a photo with their hometown community newspaper in mind. Petty Officer first class Enos Skeard submitted the photo, along with greetings from the sailors who wanted to wish their families and friends a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. "Also they can see just how proud we are to be Newfoundlanders and to serve our country," said PO Skeard. HMCS Fredericton is contributing to coalition operations off the Horn of Africa and Gulf of Oman in support of counter-terrorism, counter-piracy, marine security and humanitarian assistance.     You can take us from the rock, But you can never take the rock from us. No matter were you go and who you see from the rock they let you no thier from Newfoundland and proud of it.
