DONATE BLOOD - The Canadian Blood Services will hold a blood donor clinic at the Port aux Basques Fire Hall, Wharf Road on Monday from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

DONATE BLOOD - The Canadian Blood Services will hold a blood donor clinic at the Port aux Basques Fire Hall, Wharf Road on Monday from 4:30-8:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30-4:30 p.m.

PENSIONERS' MEETING - The newly formed Marine Atlantic Pensioners Association (MAPS) will meet on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the CN Trailer. The group was formed to deal with issues concerning retired boat and wharf workers, including insurance and boat passes. For more information call 695-7163.

FLEA MARKET - St. Paul's ACW will be having a flea market on Saturday in the church basement starting at 11 a.m.

FOOD DRIVE - The staff at the Bank of Montreal are having a food drive for the local Salvation Army Food Bank from now till May 20. Items may be dropped off at the branch during regular business hours.

ALZHEIMER BOARD - The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking the support of a volunteer from the western region to serve on our board of directors. If you are a family member of someone with Alzheimer's Disease, a health care professional or have an interest in serving on our board to provide direction to the activities of our organization, please contact Shirley Lucas at 1-877-776-0608.

FLEA MARKET - The Stewardship Committee of Isle aux Morts will be having a flea market on May 22 at the Orange Lodge starting at 11 a.m. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be sold. Anyone having items to donate please contact, Pearl at 698-3643, Gloria at 698-3132 or Madeline at 698-3785.

RELAY FOR LIFE - The Port aux Basques annual Relay for Life is June 13. Let's get together and celebrate cancer survivors and honour those living with or touched by cancer. To purchase a luminary candle in memory of a loved one or in honour of a survivor contact Lorna Coffin 695-7188 or Sue Osmond 695-2539.
